We are seeking a dynamic Head of Commercial Insights to lead the evolution of our commercial intelligence and ensure we remain on step ahead in understanding our markets, customers and performance drivers.
The Head of Commercial Insights will play a pivotal role in driving strategic and tactical decisions across the business through deep analysis, actionable insights, and performance forecasting. This is a leadership position requiring strong commercial acumen, exceptional analytical skills and a proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
As the Head of Commercial Insights you will transform data into impactful business outcomes, be an innovative business thinker, skilled data interpreter and an inspiring leader. You will be adept at cultivating executive discussions and managing priorities in dynamic environments. The Head of Commercial Insights will focus on delivering commercial insights, aligning with stakeholders and driving growth in our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own the commercial insights strategy for the Commercial function of BOYLE Sports.
- Deliver analytical support and insight to drive high-profile, impactful decision-making across the business, enabling key stakeholders to make informed, data-driven choices.
- Design and implement advanced analytical frameworks to understand customer behaviour, lifetime value, churn, product performance and promotional effectiveness.
- Partner with CCO, Marketing Director, Gaming Director and Head of Sportsbook to drive revenue optimisation strategies.
- Actively monitor key metrics, quickly spotting unusual trends and alerting the business to potential risks and opportunities.
- Deliver clear, actionable insights across Sportsbook, Gaming and Marketing activities to enhance ROI, improve performance and boost acquisition and retention.
- Collaborate with the Commercial and Product team to create revenue generating opportunities.
- Conduct ROI measurement and experimentation across all verticals.
- Partner with Performance and Customer Engagement to translate customer insights into actionable contact strategies and personalised communications.
- Conduct variance analysis/root cause diagnostics as part of budget tracking and financial planning.
- Lead the analysis of bonus performance across customer segments, products and campaigns.
- Spearhead experimentation, predictive modelling, and AI/Machine Learning initiatives. · Contribute to annual budget planning and forecasting.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across reports and insights; work with Data/BI teams to improve data infrastructure and governance
- Create clear actionable insights, KPI-driven reports and scalable dashboards.
- Facilitate regular reporting and performance reviews with leadership to interpret results and pinpoint growth opportunities.
- Lead revenue forecasting and modelling efforts to support strategic decision making.
- Serve as the strategic liaison between Commercial teams and BI/Data teams to ensure alignment on reporting, tools and priorities, such as supporting the drive to automation and tooling strategy.
- Collaborate extensively with Finance to support forecasting, strategic planning and aligned insight.
- Serve as a centre of expertise for commercial insights, guiding cross-functional teams through best practices in analytics, experimentation, and customer intelligence, acting as a senior strategic contributor, partnering across teams to embed a culture of data-driven decision making, commercial curiosity, and continuous improvement.

- Significant experience in a business intelligence role for sports betting and gaming (7+ years).
- Proficiency in dashboarding tools (Tableau) and SQL.
- Strong background in statistical analysis, experimental design and predictive modelling.
- Leadership and management skills – it is our vision that this role will build out a team in the future.
