Role Purpose:
The Head of Transformation Programmes will lead the discovery, design, and delivery of the organisation’s internal transformation and optimisation portfolio. This role is central to identifying business challenges and opportunities, validating potential solutions through data-driven analysis and business case development, and overseeing the successful implementation of approved initiatives across the Company’s Retail and Digital operations.
The position will drive a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring that every transformation project contributes measurable value — enhancing efficiency, scalability, and commercial performance across the organisation.
The overall purpose of the role is to support business growth through automation, streamlined experiences and operational scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the discovery and prioritisation of transformation and optimisation opportunities across the business.
• Develop and maintain a transformation roadmap aligned with corporate strategy.
• Conduct feasibility studies, cost-benefit assessments, and develop business cases for approval.
• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of transformation and optimisation projects from idea to business case, to design and execution.
• Establish and embed a governance framework to ensure visibility and accountability.
• Drive standardisation of delivery practices using Agile, Lean, or hybrid methodologies.
• Partner with business leaders to ensure engagement and ownership of change outcomes.
• Measure and report on transformation and optimisation initiative performance and realised benefits.
• Build and lead a high-performing transformation and programme management team.
• Foster a collaborative, insight-led culture that promotes innovation.
• Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Manage risks and dependencies across the transformation portfolio.
• Act as a trusted advisor to the executive team, translating strategy into action.
• Partner with key departments, such as Commercial & Marketing, and Product & Technology teams, to accelerate delivery of digital improvements and reduce time-to-market.
• Ensure transformation outcomes support regulatory compliance and market expansion across multiple jurisdictions.
Specialist Skills and Experience required:
• Undergraduate degree in Business, Technology, or a related field; Postgraduate qualification preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in transformation, optimisation, or strategic programme delivery.
• Proven ability to lead complex, multi-disciplinary transformation portfolios.
• Strong commercial and analytical acumen with experience in business case development.
• Expertise in programme governance, change management, and continuous improvement.
• Skilled in Agile, Lean, and traditional project management methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience driving cultural and operational change in complex environments.
• Experience in online gaming, digital entertainment, or high-volume consumer digital services.
• Proven ability to influence technology-enabled transformation with measurable commercial outcomes.
